86. Winter exams

Back again for the occasional rant.

Or rather cause I'm bored. There's a limit to how many times one can play Solitaire until one roughly grasp the strategies to win it (but too lazy to apply them). I usually play until I reach -$260, then I give up. Cause anything more than -$260, even though you win the entire hand, you still end up with a negative amount.

3 exams down, 1 more to go. And the last one is law. Gosh how I hate law. But never mind. If I feel like it, I'll blog about it tomorrow. A law course in the perspective of a science student.

Otherwise... Let's talk about exams shall we? Cause no one wants to hear me rant, so might as well rant here.

First exam... Genomics. Was... moderately okay. Rushed through and thank God there was no major worm questions.

Next, Immunology. Need to learn that there is such a thing as gloves, and that it is a necessity to have them! Not that I'm gonna have another winter exam anymore. Yay? And need to learn that staring at the ceiling too long is bad for your neck. And the lecturers need to learn that maybe, just maybe, short answer questions mean a few lines? And not a few pages to write? (Or maybe the students should learn that short answer really does mean few lines)

And thirdly, the one today. Medicinal Chem. I actually found this exam fun to do. Weird? Maybe cause I like chem more than bio. And I threw away 10 easy marks... Well, I'm recovering from berating myself on the stupidity of throwing it away, but 10 marks... And, maybe some people need to learn not to test the efficiency of the fire alarm during exam periods?

Law's tomorrow. Wonder how's it gonna turn out. But I'm aiming for a pass only. Seems pretty difficult. I thought was pretty easy since I did attend all the classes... Oh, need to learn, not to piss law lecturer off or do stupid things to law lecturer. Not that I'm gonna see him ever again, hopefully. Heh, now that I think of it, was pretty funny.

Oh well, that's it for studies. Let's talk about life, shall we? Life's... a giant chocolate chip cookie. You eat it bit by bit, until at one point, you reach the chocolate chip, then you're happy, savoring the taste. But the chocolate chip is small, and you either quickly finish it, or take it for granted that there's maybe another one nearby. Also, due to manufacturing problems, the cookie can have holes too, where there's nothing, not even cookie crumbs. Also, sometimes, there's no chocolate chip, but there's a chocolate layer at the bottom!

Okay, stupid analogy. Anyway, I sign off la. Cyaz!
